The history of the POM D`API brand began in 1870, when the shoemaker Jean-Baptiste Rautureau established a shoe workshop in the village of Gaubretière in Vendée. Secrets and production technologies were passed down from generation to generation.

The brand was instantly recognized by shoe professionals for the quality and originality of their models. Since 1976, POM D`API have been recognized in Milan.
